Megan, (flower girl), Brody, (ring bearer) and Parker (usher) were asked to be in a wedding for their baby sitter, Cait, on 10 Feb. Also here are a few pictures of the kids playing in their yard. Parker was playing football at the neighbors. Enjoy!

St George with the Garvins
Happy Presidents Day!
We spent the long weekend in St George. It was so fun. We met up with Matt and Dianne in Payson and Michael rode with them. The girls were so happy to have the extra room in the back seat. Thank You.
We went to Kendyll and Kyle's baseball games. It was cold on Saturday but Sunday was a beautiful day. John and I are both sunburned. After the games on Saturday we went to a park that had really cool red rocks. The kids had a great time climbing and exploring. Sophia is a regular rock climber! She had so much fun. Michael climbed a rock that was difficult for him but he did it and he was so proud of himself. Emily climbed up a rock, she did so well, I was so proud of her. She thought it was cool!
The kids LOVE Zoe, Dianne's new dog. They were fighting over her. I'm sure Zoe was happy to see us leave. Emily took some video of Zoe, it is a little shaky but I am going to add it here. There is also some video of the kids climbing the rocks. Enjoy.

I know, I know too many videos but it was hard to choose just one!

Now where are the parents?
Would you believe that I am colder in GA than I am in Utah. Thank goodness for jackets and blankets! Other than that, I am doing great.
Just to let you know where we are going next....
I arrive home on Sun. night. We leave for Sweetwater for a week, you know the annual thing! The group is smaller this year. Carlson's are on mission, Sorenson's and Douglas's are not going. Bryce Packer just fell and cracked his hip and has to have 2 screws put in, then 6 weeks on crutches. So that leaves Pittards, Bells and Millers. We will be home on the 25th February, which by the way was Grandma Elly's b-day.
The bigger news is this. We have definitely decided to sell the house. We will put it on the market this Spring. When the house sells, we will decide where to move. It most likely will be in Smithfield. We will be looking for a small home and getting rid of a lot of things, just like you have wanted us to do for a long time. So you had better let us know if you really want any stored junk, or stuff from the house. We are going to get rid of a lot. Speak now or forever hold your peace. I think we will have to rent a storage unit to put stuff in so the house will look better. It's all these decisions. But at least we are have come this far....aren't you glad. After the house is sold etc. etc. then it is amission for us.
Ron may, I say may have a job offer to work part time for an engineering firm in Smfd until the house is sold. He has interviewed and just waiting for an answer. It could or could not happen.

So the Garvins are on the go for baseball again!!! We're leaving the cold weather of Meridian for sunny, warm, delightful St. George!! Yeah!!! We're leaving on friday the 15th in the morning and stopping in Provo at Nicole's mexican restraunt for dinner then on to St. George. Kendyll and Kyle will be playing on the same team for this tournament and they'll have games Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Nicole is going to join us in St. George on Sunday. (due to a big date on Saturday night!)
Monday sometime we'll head back North. Matt and Kyle and Kody will ride with friends to Meridian, Kendyll and I will go to Provo along with Nicole to stay at Nicole's appt. Monday night. Then Tuesday, Kendyll has appt.'s at 9:30 and 2:30 to have his new prosthetic eye made in SLC. Then for a follow up appt. with his surgeon at 4pm. He has another appt on Wed. the 20th with the ocularist, at 2pm and then we're finally headed home. LONG weekend!!!
We're excited to have John and Amber and their kids join us in St. George to watch some baseball and anyone else is invited to come if you want! ( I'm hoping to get up to Smithfield to visit Kasey and family sometime between Kendyll's appt.'s ) Love you all, Dianne

Well, would you believe that I am in Georgia. I flew down on Sat. night to spend a week with these Southern grandkids. The weather is much colder than I expected, but I think it has something to do with the humidity in the air. Melinda is working, the kids are in school and Brody and I just hang out.
